Helping children together
Under the heading "helping children together" UNICEF acts worldwide to realize the rights garantied to children for every single one. The Children Trust of the United Nations was founded in 1946 and nowadays it's supporting projects in more than 150 countries. UNICEF provides vaccination for every 2nd child in the world, they build wells and procure schooling material for millions of children all over the world. At the same time UNICEF uses its political power to help better the longterm situation of these children - also in Germany.

...and once more 2.000,- € for Birma:
After the whole tropic gale "Nargis" Birma suffered a rising number of victims. UNICEF organized emergency accomodations, potable water, household articles, mosquito nets a.s.o. for the catastrophe's victims.

The group "Aktion Hilfe für Kinder e. V." (Campaign Help for Children, registered society) was foundet in 1998. It's goal is to help children in need - in a direct manner, fast and without bureaucracy. Mainly when Civil Service and other official institutions either don't consider themselves responsible or just take too long until their help starts.

At present "Campaign Help for Children, reg. society" is having one of the largest memberships in Germany with regard to children help.

331,60 €

were donated in form of goods by Sakkara to retarded children.

436,50 € were donated by Sakkara to "Tübinger Verein Soz. Therapie" in form of goods for the children undergoing social therapy.
